Terms
HomeGuard Weather Terms
HomeGuard Weather is an iPhone app for forecast-based home-care checklists, no hardware required. It is free to start, and the optional HomeGuard+ subscription is $59.99/year with a 1-month free trial, or $9.99/month, billed by Apple. These terms cover the app, the subscription, and this website. HomeGuard is for awareness and preparation, not an emergency alert system, and not a replacement for National Weather Service alerts or emergency services.
Effective date: October 13, 2026. Last updated: October 13, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and WallStack Systems LLC (“we,” “us”), which operates HomeGuard Weather. By using the HomeGuard Weather iPhone app or the homeguardweather.com website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Using the app and your account
You sign in to HomeGuard Weather with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the home details you enter accurate. HomeGuard Weather is available for homes in the United States and is not intended for children under 13. Use the app only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse engineer the service.
Apple’s standard license agreement
The app is licensed, not sold, to you. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app alongside these terms. If they conflict, these terms control to the extent permitted by Apple’s agreement. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
Free features and HomeGuard+
HomeGuard Weather is free to start. Setup, your home profile, conditions and forecasts, official alerts, home preparation, maintenance history, safety information, and your household’s first weather checklist are free. HomeGuard+ keeps weather checklists open after that first weather event.
- HomeGuard+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered yearly or monthly.
- Yearly: $59.99/year, with a 1-month free trial for eligible new subscribers. The trial is offered on the yearly plan only.
- Monthly: $9.99/month, with no free trial.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by country. The price shown in the App Store at purchase applies.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. A free trial converts to a paid yearly subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or free trial. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone). Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Deleting the app or your HomeGuard account does not cancel the subscription.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
Home care guidance
HomeGuard Weather provides weather-aware checklists and reminders for ordinary home care. It does not guarantee home protection, prevent damage, or replace your judgment about whether conditions are safe. Weather, alert, air quality, and flood map information comes from third-party and government sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
Safety boundary
HomeGuard Weather is not an emergency alert system or a replacement for NWS alerts, local authorities, utilities, emergency services, or professional repair guidance. It helps homeowners stay aware and prepare when conditions are safe. In severe weather, follow the National Weather Service and local officials.
Do not climb ladders, access the roof, or clean gutters during unsafe conditions. Use ground-level checks and qualified professionals when height, electrical, tree, roof, or structural risk is involved.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WallStack Systems LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for property damage, personal injury, or loss arising from weather events or from relying on the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for HomeGuard+ in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using HomeGuard Weather and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or misuse the service, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
